Failure Rate Among Foundation Studies Students in Cyber University in 2004/2005

The pie chart highlights the failure rate among Foundation students in Cyber University for the academic year 2004/2005 (Introducing your non-linear data). It is noted that the highest failure rate are among the engineering students while the lowest are the Law students with 41% and nine percent respectively (COMPARISON/TREND). The failure rate for Management students is two percent higher that that of IT students (COMPARISON/TREND). The percentages are 26% and 24% respectively. The high percentage of failures among Engineering students are due to the large number of students per class, where lecturers are not able to give personal attention. Thus, leading to insufficient contact hours for proper guidance to individual students. Another reason that leads to the high percentage of failure rates among engineering students would be due to the complexity of their core courses compared to courses taken by other majors (TWO LOGICAL REASON THAT CORRELATES WITH THE COMPARISON/TREND).

Hi hanakana,

Just wondering about what you've commented here. Where did you get this? Or is this something that came originally from you? Just wondering.
